Sandcast Lead by Central Milled Lead

Central Milled Lead are manufacturers and suppliers of British Standard Sandcast Lead Sheet.

Sandcast Lead is manufactured traditionally by Central Milled Lead to the same process as that that has been used for hundreds of years by throwing molten lead down a specially prepared bed of damp sand, this is allowed to cool and then cut to size for specific customer requirements.

Normally used on Heritage and Historical buildings where a heavier, more hardwearing roof surface is required, which if fitted expertly will last up to 200 years.

Dimensions are to BS EN 12588 EN standards normally available in the thicker codes only, codes 6 (2.65mm), 7 (3.15mm) and 8 (3.55mm).

Smaller orders i.e. under 2 tonnes are available for Next Day delivery or collection, larger orders will be scheduled to meet customer delivery requirements.
